New Horizons Band

Personal Music History: I took piano lessons when I was 9 & 10. I have sung in church choirs since I was 14 and have played English handbells for 25 years. The Dallas New Horizons Band has been my first experience with the flute.

Statement about New Horizons Band: The New Horizons Band is an excellent way to learn a new instrument or to reacquaint yourself with an instrument you may have played in high school or college. The members of the Dallas group are a fun, like-minded bunch. Our Friday afternoon rehearsals are the highlight of my week. We are a very forgiving crowd and know that our music may not be perfect, but we're all trying. Our concerts at churches and senior centers are most rewarding.
