Born in Canton, Mississippi

Graduated Central High School - Jackson, Mississippi

Education: 2 years Millsaps College - Jackson, Mississippi; 2 years Northwestern - Graduated, BS Degree

5 years Military - World War II
Discharged 1945 with rank of Captain in Air Force
While in service graduated from Command & General Staff School

Lived and worked  in Chicago from 1945-1950 where I met my wife, Hilde.

In 1950 took job in Apparel Industry as District Manager of the Southwestern States and moved to Dallas

In 1960 made career change to Life Insurance Industry where I enjoyed for 44 years and am still active in the offices of MassMutual. Achieved designation as Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Life Member of Million Dollar Round Table.

Still happily married after 54 years and have 3 sons and 6 grandchildren who all live in Dallas.

Columbian Country Club of Dallas

In addition to enjoying my family and my business career, I now am happily renewing my musical interest by joining the New Horizon Band in July 2004.
